Fire Safety Engineers at the Fire Middle East Conference
Are you a fire safety engineer? A fire professional looking to influence your industry and make a difference in your region? You’re not the only one. Fire safety engineers across the Middle East shared this sentiment and looked to bring together professionals from the industry and share best practices, this drive, and the desire to bring together regional and international experts, led to the formation and philosophies behind the Fire Middle East Conference 2024.
A Conference Made for Fire Safety Engineers
Through a curated audience and carefully tailored agenda, the Fire Middle East Conference looks to introduce fire safety engineers and experts to the new wave of technologies. The 2024 event took place in May and saw civil defence experts, codes and compliance creators, and a plethora of safety testing managers come together, discussing the regional threats these job roles face, and also looking toward developments in fire and safety spearheaded by the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.
The innovative initiative sees the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shifting away from a historic dependency on an oil-based economy, introducing critical investment in new fields, such as security, technology, tourism and events. This has led to the development of several ‘giga-projects’. These projects, as their name implies, are huge in scale, spanning thousands of kilometres and seeing innovative technology creating interconnected cities, new energy sources, turning deserts into forests, cloud seeding, mass-use artificial ai personas and more.
Recently, the Saudi Government discussed the progress of the cliff-handing super-stadium, The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium. Which will bring together famous competitions from around the world and situate them within the Saudi economy.

Through the development of these giga-projects, the Saudi Government is creating thousands of new jobs in several fields. However, these innovative builds pose unique structural and safety problems, that the regional fire safety engineers need to be prepared to deal with. Questions like these are developed and answered at the Fire Middle East Conference, with the support of multiple sponsors, all based on various fields of Fire and Safety.
Reacton Fire Suppression
The Fire Middle East Conference’s inaugural event was in May 2024. Out of the gate, the event had several influential sponsors that were present to redefine their respective industries, appealing to fire safety engineers from around the world.
The Headline Sponsor of the Fire Middle East Conference 2024 was Reacton Fire Suppression. Reacton helped to shape the event from its inception, developing the closing keynote of the conference and helping to determine the high-calibre audience that showed up on the day.
Reacton Fire Suppression define themselves as:

They weren’t the only sponsors who showed up, with the conference powered by The National Security Services of Saudi Arabia (SAFE), Blazemaster by Lubrizol, FSA KSA (Fire Science Academy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Swastik Synergy and Potter Global Technologies.
These sponsors were present at panel discussions and again helped our conference team to define our agenda and shape the vision and goals of our event.
Through our sponsorships, the curated agenda, and the high-calibre audience that was present on the day, the Fire Middle East conference was positioned perfectly as the place for Fire Safety engineers to further define their field and make a difference in their industry. The Fire Middle East Conference is set to return to Saudi Arabia in 2025.
