Teren Tan

Teren Tan is the head of Emergency Services at Serco, a recently created leadership role which comes as part of Serco’s expansion of its emergency services operations.

Teren is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the strategic growth and compliance of Serco’s full suite of emergency services operations across the Middle East, a team which currently consists of more than 200 professionals. Teren is responsible for ensuring the delivery of top-tier emergency services and resilience training, as well as crisis management services. Teren is also responsible for advising on global strategic opportunities across the Serco Business.

Teren joined Serco in 2020 after a 14-year career with the Australian Defence Force in the emergency services domain, where he held several leadership roles in both Australian and international assignments. Teren’s continues to make moves within the industry, driven by his dedication to emergency services, driving substantial improvement initiatives and major acquisition programmes.
