Tomasz Keilbasa

Tomasz is the Head of the Certification Department at ESL, overseeing the development and delivery of certification services for a wide range of active and passive fire protection products, systems, and materials. Currently, the department offers certification to more than 600 standards.

Prior to joining ESL, Tomasz spent 15 years as a Fire Service Officer in a Certification Manager role at the Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection (CNBOP), gaining extensive expertise in the certification of fire and life safety products and systems, as well as in auditing factory production control systems worldwide.

Tomasz holds both a Master’s and an Engineer’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering and has completed postgraduate studies in smoke control systems. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in the fields of engineering and conformity assessment, with the aim of raising awareness and promoting best practices in fire and life safety.
