The Progress of the Line

The Public Investment Fund’s NEOM, the team behind the exciting “The Line” city have given an update on the progress of the giga-project.

Following the staggering investment and workload which has taken place around the Line, it’s clear that the giga-project will both stand out and soon become a reality, as an unparalleled aesthetic.

As part of a promotional video on NEOM’s YouTube, Chief Development Officer Denis Hickey discussed how the first phase of The Line would be complete by 2030. “We are committed”, he stated.

There is a massive amount of positive progress being seen, with sustainability as the main philosophy guiding the planning and construction of the city. The Line is intended to be a fully carbon-neutral city, running off entirely renewable energy.

According to NEOM, construction of the Line is “the largest earthworks and piling operation in the world right now.”

With The Line having seemingly infinite backing and potential, the giga-project will be closely followed as it heads towards its goal of first-phase completion as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.
